Specified Quantities

12 July 2011

The NMO have recently issued guidance notes on the proposed new regulations on the removal of prescribed quantities relating to non-pre-packed alcohol and unwrapped bread. This relates to the quantities of the bread and will have little bearing on the requirements relating to the type of equipment that packers must use to make up or check the loaves. The guidance notes can be found at the attached link It must be remembered that the regulations are not yet in force.
